SOUTH YARRA HOUSE

A large scale renovation and extension to an existing two-storey townhouse. Two additional storeys were added, specifically for a ground floor home office and studio. The property complements the surrounding streetscape, with its own contemporary flair and individuality. Timber elements flank the West and East facade both as ornamental features and shading devices. The house exemplifies one of the specialties of  JAYWARDEN  – being able to take the constraint of an existing residence and transform it into an Architecturally functional, aesthetic and resilient property, fit for both modern day and future inhabitation.
