VALLEY PARADE HOUSE EXTENSION

The Valley Parade extension is a blend of heritage and contemporary elements.  Through sensitive design, the front portion of the house was retained with an additional story to the rear, with a focus on the panoramic view overlooking a valley. We took into consideration the sloped site, specific requirements for the location of different programs, etc. bud room, cellar, pool room,  as well as maximizing natural light and ventilation. The front verandah is complemented with ornamental columns and hand painted tiles. Upon entry, a light filled central corridor divides the internal rooms, gradually bleeding out the new portion of the ground floor to a spacious living, kitchen, & butlers pantry.  The lower ground floor opens out to the pool and a secluded private open space for parking, laundry and play space.
